I can only speak about my experience and that of my friends and family who tried the procedure as well. I am by no means an expert, but I truly believe that I made such exhaustive research before venturing that I learned a lot!

The main reason why I created this website and my channel is because I want to share what I learned. And not only that, I want people to be able to find everything in one place and organized in the same way I wish I had.

I'm here just sharing my journey and my experience. A great deal of my experience was aided by my very kind Dr. Prof. Bülbüller, in him I found not only a great doctor, but also a friend. He has not only helped me recover my health and self-esteem, but also with some of the content available on my channel.

What's more, we forged such a good rapport that I have had other operations (thyroids) in the same hospital, with the same excellent result. And I would recommend it to anyone who asks, and as a matter of fact, I have.

So much so, that the hospital has given me a promo code (ANNE-MARIE) with which any patient who presents it during consultation will have the post-op medicines cost waived. This is no small feat considering that the med-package includes everything you will need for 3 months with a monetary value of at least £400

If you want I can put you in contact with my surgeon and his team, but also if you just have any other question, maybe regarding my journey and my experience feel free to contact me.

How painful is it after surgery?
You should be given painkillers from the hospital at the time of your stay and also given painkillers if needed to take home with you.
My personal experience was I did not take any painkillers after leaving the hospital as I was not in any pain. I was given painkillers in the hospital and felt no pain or discomfort.

Will I be okay to travel back home?
Yes it will be safe for you to travel home I went by coach for 3 hours and it was a very comfortable journey.

How long do I need to take off work?
2 weeks depending on the type of work that you do should be fine. My personal experience again was due to the type of work I do which is (telephone and computer) I was working in the hospital as I felt well enough to do it. I was more weary than usual and gave myself naps so I only did a couple of hours at a time a half-day of work really but within a week I went back full time. I did feel weary for about 6 weeks then Boom I was full of energy!

Will I ever be able to eat a normal meal again?
Well, the point is you can eat whatever you chose within reason, but you will feel full very quickly that is the point of the sleeve, the type of food is down to you. Your sleeve is a tool that can work for you by making good selections such as protein first, then veg or salads, if you have room, would be the way forward if you want to have the maximum benefits of weight loss and more importantly to have your energy return.

What will I get if I use the PROMO CODE?
You will receive:

- 3 months postdischarge medication for free (currently, this has a value of up to £400 worth of savings).
- Private transfer service from the airport directly to the hospital and back.
- Your very own private room and en suite bathroom in the hospital which includes all of your stay!
- 2 years follow-up care after surgery via e-mail or WhatsApp, where the doctor will assess your blood test results.

Yes, that's right! Your entire stay is in the hospital, on the same ward and the medical staff with you at all times.
No hotel aftercare, your stay is entirely spent in the hospital! With the same doctors and nurses that oversaw your procedure.

How does the journey look like if I choose the same hospital?
Day 1. Your arrival.
Day 2. Your pre surgery checkup with extensive tests to ensure you are well and suitable to have your surgery.
Day 3. Your surgery.
Day 4 Á 5. your stay in hospital.
Day 6. Departure and transfer to the airport. No hidden charges.
If you arrive early before 8 AM they can do your check up on day 1 and departure can be on day 5.
This also includes translators available in the hospital that speak English and German, out of hours translators are also available on call should you need them.
All staff are friendly and aware that you are probably nervous and understand this.
And yes, they will provide your meal (broth) and water throughout your stay.

Will I still be able to take my medications after my surgery for pre-existing medical conditions?
In the hospital, they will give you your medication through a drip or you can take them crushed up for the first 3 weeks then you will be able to proceed as normal and take them whole once again, you might find, that you don't need to take all of them as time goes on as the benefits of surgery can improve lots of medical conditions afterwards.

Does it really work Can I ever lose all of the weight?
A Gastric sleeve is a tool, it is up to you how you gain the maximum benefits from your sleeve. You certainly will lose weight if you follow the plan and make sensible choices regarding your food choice if you want to eat lots of sweets and carbs you may find you do not do as well as you could have. If you choose protein first you will feel full and you won't have room for anything else. There is no reason why you should not lose all the weight and most importantly keep it off.

What happens if you eat too much?
Well, you will feel full and it is very uncomfortable in your chest area if you overeat which means you need to move around and walk a little it will pass within about 30 minutes. Or you may feel that it is slimy and tickly and then back up the food will come as it just does not like feeling overloaded.

Do I have to take supplements for the rest of my life?
You will probably need to take a multivitamin every day. If you are sensible with a balanced and nutritional diet you that should be all, some people don't vary what they eat and end up with mineral deficiencies for short periods of time it is up to you to be aware of a varied and balanced diet.

Do I need to have a consultation with you in order to use your code?
No, you don't. You can go directly to the hospital and present my code at any point before flying into Turkey to receive the benefits. Of course it is always nice if you can drop me a line, but it is not mandatory.
